NEURAL SIGNALMARKET INTELLIGENCE
v146.1

TRANSPARENCY LAYER

Method before
signal.

Neural Signal is an evidence and research interface with public and member workspaces. It can store member-selected research preferences, but it does not infer personal objectives or execute trades.

OBSERVED

A dated value from a named source.

INFERENCE

A transparent rules-based interpretation.

COUNTER-EVIDENCE

What may invalidate the interpretation.

STALE

A value older than its expected update window.

UNAVAILABLE

A failed source is shown—not silently replaced.

01 / MODEL CARDS

What each engine can—and cannot—say.

01

Cross-asset research scan

Trend, momentum, RSI, relative volume and volatility penalties.

02

Cycle regime

50/200-day structure, rates/bond overlay, drawdown and realised volatility.

03

Liquidity rotation

Price performance plus each asset's volume relative to its own history.

04

Leverage risk

Open interest, funding, volatility and modelled leverage-distance clusters.

05

Australian property

Momentum, affordability, supply, rental pressure and credit sensitivity.

02 / PROPERTY METHOD

Price floors are scenarios, not facts.

Required evidence

Rates and serviceability; lending and arrears; listings and days on market; approvals, commencements and completions; construction cost; vacancy and rent; population and employment; infrastructure, planning and hazard exposure.

Publication rule

National, city and suburb layers are kept separate. Forecasts show multiple scenarios, date, inputs, counter-evidence and confidence. Vendor claims remain labelled until the sample and licence are verified.

Current limitation

The public launch uses official national data and directional city assessments. It does not claim real-time suburb valuations, open-home attendance or a guaranteed acquisition opportunity.

03 / SOURCE REGISTER

Coverage and limitations.

Markets

CoinGecko, Binance public market endpoints, FRED and market-chart feeds

Prices, returns, volume, yields and macro series
Macro

RBA, Federal Reserve, Bank of Canada, Bank of Japan, CBRT, ABS, APRA

Policy, inflation, labour, credit and housing context
Property

RBA, ABS and APRA official releases

National credit and supply context; not a live suburb valuation feed
Institutional activity

Issuer filings and manager disclosures

Dated observed transactions; never assumed future buying

04 / PUBLISHED EVIDENCE LIBRARY

Research links behind the analytical lenses.

These papers justify why a lens is worth testing. They do not validate every threshold or guarantee that a historical relationship persists. Neural Signal still requires matched data, out-of-sample checks and visible counter-evidence.

Yield curve

The Yield Curve as a Predictor of U.S. Recessions

Federal Reserve Bank of New York

Product use: Supports treating the 10-year/3-month term spread as one recession-probability input—not a deterministic forecast.

Important limit: Predictive strength changes by horizon and regime; show model date, spread and uncertainty.

Global liquidity

Understanding global liquidity

Bank for International Settlements · Working Paper 402

Product use: Supports a multi-factor liquidity lens spanning monetary policy, credit supply and credit demand.

Important limit: No single balance-sheet series is sufficient evidence for a universal risk-on signal.

OPEN PUBLISHED SOURCE ↗
Cross-asset liquidity

Through stormy seas: how fragile is liquidity across asset classes and time?

Bank for International Settlements · Working Paper 1229

Product use: Supports comparing liquidity resilience across equities, FX and government bonds rather than aggregating incompatible raw volumes.

Important limit: Market liquidity can look adequate on average while becoming fragile under stress.

OPEN PUBLISHED SOURCE ↗
Momentum

Profitability of Momentum Strategies: An Evaluation of Alternative Explanations

NBER Working Paper 7159

Product use: Supports studying medium-horizon momentum with explicit formation and holding windows.

Important limit: Reversals, costs, crowding and out-of-sample decay must be tested before using a trigger.

OPEN PUBLISHED SOURCE ↗
Momentum risk

Momentum Trading, Return Chasing, and Predictable Crashes

NBER Working Paper 20660

Product use: Supports displaying counter-evidence when momentum is crowded or vulnerable to reversal.

Important limit: A historical crash condition is a risk lens, not a timing instruction.

05 / IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Research—not personal advice.

Neural Signal provides general market information and research tools. It does not consider your objectives, financial situation or needs. Scores, labels, scenarios and historical performance are not recommendations, guarantees or invitations to trade. Verify information with the original source and obtain appropriately qualified professional advice where required.

Market and property data can be delayed, revised, incomplete or sourced through proxies. Currency conversions exclude spreads and tax. Past performance and backtests do not predict future results.
